An international arrest warrant has been issued for the 30-year-old, who is suspected of recruiting beautiful women and using them to move drugs to Europe and North America. The drugs were then trafficked to Europe. Valencia was crowned Columbia’s “Queen of Coffee” in 2000 and is said to have split from a Mexican drug baron nicknamed The Monster to rival his empire.

‘The Blind Side’: Family Takes In Homeless Teen

An astounding act of generosity and hope has changed the lives of one Pequea, Penn., family. Paula Dussinger opened her newspaper on an early morning last March, and read a story about homeless teenagers living at a nearby rescue mission in Lancaster County. According to the Intelligencer Journal  Dussinger read the article a dozen times, and finally decided that she had to take action. After consulting her husband, she called the mission, and within weeks she met Allison Rossi, a girl profiled in the story. PLEADS GUILTY: Officers Shot Katrina Survivors In Search For Food

Ronald Madison was shot to death on the Danziger Bridge.

In Hurricane Katrina’s chaotic aftermath, police shot six people – killing two – as they crossed a bridge in search of food. For years the case was a shocking symbol of the confusion and violence that swept through the flooded city. On Wednesday it became a mark of shame for the police department.
