“If God is willing & Da Creek Don’t Rise” is Spike Lee’s four hour, two part, continuation to his 2006 award winning film: ” When the Levees Broke: A Requiem In Four Acts.” The documentary discusses the aftermath and unknown facts not mentioned in the media post Hurricane Katrina, while the last hour is dedicated to the BP Oil Spill in the Gulf. It will premiere on August 23 on HBO at 9:00 p.m. Eastern and Pacific Time. Part two airs on August 24 at 9:00 p.m.

Movie: Denzel Washington as coach in "Remember The Titans"
In the sequel to Avatar, director James Cameron says he will change it up a little. The movie will take place in the oceans of Pandora. He even talks about the third sequel. Cameron is obviously genius. Sequels always slip below expectations, but I have a feeling he will not fail. Cameron will wow with a message…again.
With the awesome play now feature on my Netflix I am able to watch many films instantly. New releases and certain popular films, you must rent, but that’s alright still many to spare. Randomly I decided to watch “See No Evil, Hear No Evil” starring Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder. The movie is funny as hell and together they are the perfect comedy duo. Imagine being a blind shit-talker, who acts like he can see, and your friend deaf nice guy, who acts like he can hear. Sounds ironic? This is why you should watch it. The story line is not the best, but compared to modern comedies this trumps it. I miss real acting, good movie scripts, and Hollywood! This all should return in due time…I Hope!

I finally got a chance to watch “Sunshine Cleaning“, a dramatic comedy, that follows the life of a single parent that went from cleaning houses to cleaning murder scenes. You never think of the jobs people choose to do in this world and being a crime scene cleaner is NOT one. Hey! Whatever pays the bills. They always say, be a nurse and you’ll never be without a job. Be a crime scene cleaner and you will definitely never be without a job.
